A direct line will be created from my apartment in Regina, Saskatchewan to Kerri-Lynn Reeves apartment in Winnipeg, Manitoba using a tin can phone. It seems childish and archaic to create our own direct tin can phone line from one city to the other in this time of easy and advanced communication. Yet with all of those avenues at our disposal it seems as though we are not connected to one another.

It will take 355 miles (571 km) of string to complete the tin can phone line from Winnipeg to Regina. We currently have approximately 124 miles of string. Though science and logic may tell us that our tin can phone line will not function and the ties will most likely be severed in our respective cities or somewhere along the Trans-Canada, highway, we forge on.
