In 2007 I ran a one-day workshop on participation titled The Art Fort: Build it Together. In a small corner of the MacKenzie Art Gallery education centre the attendees of The Art Fort constructed a makeshift fort out of blankets and pillows. The Art Fort was a project that had brought people together to share what they feel they are best at in a series of individually led mini-workshops.
